SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry is launching a new weekly podcast called “Warriors 24” that provides in-depth analysis and coverage of the Golden State Warriors and the NBA. Warriors 24 is featured exclusively on the Bleav Podcast Network.
“I’m looking forward to talk about the sport I love dearly,” Barry said. “It’s been such an important part of my life and I’m excited to use this platform to give back to the sport I love.”
Barry was the last player to lead the Golden State Warriors to a world championship prior to the Stephen Curry era, winning the 1975 NBA Finals MVP award. More recently, Barry has been an award-winning broadcaster and the previous three years was a head coach in the Big 3.
Joining Barry on Warriors 24 is award winning journalist Cyrus Saatsaz, who grew up loving the team since the days of Sleepy Floyd and Chris Mullin. Saatsaz has covered the Warriors over 20 years for organizations including The Huffington Post, Sports Illustrated and Yahoo Sports.
